We toodled around the harbor in the dinghy today, tied up at the dock, and went for a walk. Two Harbors is at the thinnest part of Catalina Island. We are anchored on the north side. We walked from the dock, through “town” (about 25 buildings, including a pretty good store, a restaurant, and public restrooms, shower, and laundry!), and found Cat Harbor less than half a mile away. It’s about 14 miles by boat. The weather was great, and everything was pleasant. It was nice just sitting on a bench near Cat Harbor and watching the fish jump. (Big fish! Seemed possessed!)
Tonight will be our third night here. Tomorrow we plan to sail to Long Beach.
